North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service have recently completed an independent trial and become the fourth Service out of the four in the Yorkshire region to opt for the HEROS-xtreme. As more and more F&RS' highlight the requirement for maximum protection, wearer comfort and durability, the HEROS-xtreme has proven to be the only choice available in the European market to 'tick all boxes'. The helmets will go live in May 2011 to which Rosenbauer Vice President Hans Detzlhofer commented, ''In the UK we can see certain regions which pride themselves on furnishing their brigade with quality whilst achieving best value in the long term. North Yorkshire's helmet trials are testament to such a professional department who listen and react accordingly to the requests and opinions at station level alongside delving deep into standards and testing, ensuring their fire fighters are only issued the best.''
