North Fire were proud to officially launch the Metz products and the new Rosenbauer Fire Fighting Equipment at the 'Demonstration of Excellence Day 2010' which was held at Whitley Hall Hotel in South Yorkshire on the 29th September. Rosenbauer sent representatives at board level to explain first hand of Rosenbauer's desire to effectively serve the UK's world class fire & rescue services at a time when only maximum purchasing efficiency is good enough in light of the upcoming budget cuts across the UK's public sector.

The day, which was attended by Brigade Engineers and Operational Equipment teams alike from throughout the UK, proved a great success as the FRS' and the Austrian and German attendees 'compared notes' to find varying supply solutions to pending challenges from both budget cuts and an increased variation in the role of a fire fighter.

Aerial Fire Fighting and Flood Defence were the main role topics discussed as Rosenbauer demonstrated their new range of products to effectively cope with this increased demand. And with Rosenbauer's promise that they will be on hand to back up all products with an enviable service department, Brigades left reassured in the knowledge that Rosenbauer are well and truly present directly in the UK.
